Hamlet Protein delivers keynote at nutrition conference China

Hamlet Protein, global leader in solutions for young animal nutrition, participated in the We-Win Nutrition Conference organized by Dr. Yue Longyao. The two-day event took place in Qingdao (China) and provided excellent opportunities for technical knowledge exchange and networking.

Dr. Yue Longyao, a former technical director of WellHope Group, now an independent nutritionist, organized the conference that attracted more than 1,000 attendees and drew another 350,000 on-line participants. The event focused on swine nutrition, discussing the latest developments in feed formulation; low protein diets; how to address restrictions on the use of ZnO and AG; post weaning oxidative stress, and opportunities to drive performance through creep feed. Professors from China Agricultural University, Sichuan Agricultural University and Nanjing Agricultural University, as well as other research institutes and nutritionists from DBN, Cargill, Huanshan, TRS, PIC, attended the conference and delivered insightful presentations.

Hamlet Protein sponsored the conference and the company’s technical manager Dr. Eugene Li presented on “Choosing quality protein for your creep feed.” Dr. Li discussed gut health development and nutrient requirements of piglets and presented different creep feed formulations. He also presented Hamlet Protein’s latest research on protein kinetics and the benefits of HP 300 over other protein sources.

After the presentation Hamlet Protein hosted a dinner for customers, distributors, and representatives from the industry. Drawing a large group of professionals and opinion leaders, the dinner event provided a great opportunity to share insights on recent industry developments, challenges, and opportunities.
